What is a Plastic baling machine?

Plastic recycling is profitable so it has become a business all of its own. Balers for Plastic are essential to this process. The plastic baler is commonly used to crush waste plastics together into a bale, it can be used for a variety of materials including PET, HDPE, LDPE, PVC, PP, etc. Plastic balers are widely used in recycling facilities, supermarkets, distributional centers, and manufacturing facilities. Plastic recycling involve transportation of the waste materials after they are collected, using a plastic baler to compress the waste materials into heavy and dense bale will increase transportation and storage efficiency. Many of the recyclers will not accept waste plastics unless they are baled.
Vertical balers VS. Horizontal Balers

There are vertical balers and horizontal balers in the market for you to choose from. Compare to the vertical plastic baler, a horizontal baler is much larger in size with the capability to process a large amount of waste plastic materials in a short period of time, due to its larger compression chamber and bigger loading hopper on the top of the machine. On the other hand, the vertical plastic balers take less precious floor space and the machine itself is more affordable, if you are just start to getting into the plastic recycling business, you may want to consider the vertical type to start with.
The working process of a plastic baler
The mechanism behind the plastic baler is quite easy to understand.
The vertical plastic baler compress waste materials with a vertical downward force. Once the machine is installed in your facility and plug in, you can load the material through the opening chute on the front of the machine, the baler’s ram moves downwards to the floor to crush the plastics. This process is controlled by an electric control panel and the cycle repeats until the chamber is full and bale is made.
Horizontal balers process plastics in a different direction in the compression chamber than the vertical machines. Waste plastic is thrown into a hopper which located on the top of the chamber, once the material drop down and the chamber is full, a ram from the side compresses the plastics with a horizontal force to produce the bale. After the bale is made, the bale can be tied off and ejected from the side.
