Rubber is poisonous if they are just thrown away and it will cause deterioration to our environment. Around 90% of the tires/tyres are being used for recycling purposes. However, many businesses around the globe are facing problems with waste tires/tyres, due to its nature and the certain recycling regulations.

In general, the process of getting automobile tires/tyres recycled involves the following steps:

  • Tires/tyres collection
  • Transportation
  • Removal of steel wire
  • Cutting, grinding, and applying chemicals to create powder
  • Sorting and screening
  • Cleaning
  • Distribution

Scrap tires/tyres can impose many risks including:

  • Fire hazard
  • Illegal dumping
  • Tires can become home for rodents
  • Water pollution

Tire recycling is a valuable industry, many of the scrap tires are recycled into rubber and used in road construction, or broken down and used for energy generation. Tires have been traditionally transported loose with high cost. Baling tires/tyres can be a significant help during the process of dealing with them. After the tires are baled, the transportation of the shipping on containers will be much more efficient. This is especially important for businesses that located in remote locations.

Awell Pres OT tire baler will change the inefficient disposal of you waste tires. The OT baler is from our large sized vertical baler family. It is designed to saves space, frees up manpower, and significantly reduce your overall cost for materials handling. It features dual ram hydraulic cylinders delivering powerful pressure to produce dense and heavy bale. The OT180 model can produce bale up to 2 tons for tires/tyres. The large feed opening allows easy loading of large quantities of materials. Compared with the standard tire balers, our OT tire baler can produce up to 5 bales per hours, compress high rebound materials into an easy to handle, ready for transporting form.

Here are a handful of the uses for recycled tired materials:

Road construction
Tire scrap and chips can be used instead of gravel such as the layering of roadways, highway embankment backfill. Tires materials are almost three times lighter than gravel with improved grip, which can save tremendous labor time and equipment cost when using them for construction.

Crumb Rubber
After the steel and cords are removed from the tires/tyres, the crumb rubber from the waste tires can be used mats making, playground flooring and rubberized asphalt.

Cement production
It has become more popular that the cement producers choose discard tires/tyres as fuel during the cement production.

Thermal Insulation
Tires/tyres chip can be used as a thermal insulation for residential building roofs, landscaping medium, and many more.
